DDFC is a Football Association Charter Standard Club based in the village of Duffield, Derbyshire. Run by volunteer managers, coaches and assistants it provides an opportunity for children and young adults to enjoy playing football.

Players train and compete within their respective age groups from age 5 (school year 1) through to sixth form. Please see the teams pages for details of each individual age group.

The club has a deliberate policy of not selecting or streaming on ability until players reach the under 11s. This means that as far as humanly possible all players regardless of ability will be given an equal opportunity to play football.

As an FA Charter Standard Club all coach’s are expected to complete the FA level 1 coaching course, which includes instruction on child protection and first aid.

In addition to regular training and matches many teams also participate in other tournaments and arrange friendly matches with other clubs.
