In a closely fought match, Duffield Dynamo FC's U16s have beaten Chellaston to take the Derby City Challenge Cup.
Held at Moorways Stadium on 17th April 2010, the team last won this compeition as under 13's.
No other under 16's team from DDFC has ever won the cup.
It was a tough game with Duffield scoring in the first half with a penalty from Josh Pearson.
Chellaston equalised in the second half. After full time it was 1-1 and extra time didn't alter things.
Duffield finally won on penalties with goals from Josh Pearson and Callum Millward.
Four amazing saves from goal keeper Jamie Smith gave Duffield the trophy.
